3. A hidden pool at Angel’s Billabong

Located in Banjar Sumpang, Bunga Mekar Village, Nusa Penida, this beautiful pool is formed by itself, aka natural. To go to Nusa Penida Island, you have to take a boat from Sanur. Angel’s Billabong location is not too far from Pasih Uwug, about half a kilometer from Manta Point to the surrounding reef. Then climb down one of the coral walls to find this super unique and beautiful secret pool.

What makes this ‘pool’ even more interesting is the crystal-clear water so you can see the bottom which gives off an emerald-like greenish tinge. Apparently, the color comes from the bottom of the ‘pool’ where you can step on it without worrying about slipping. Because it’s not slippery and so comfortable as if you’re walking on a green carpet. Wow, really fun, right?
