1. Taj Mahal – India

Tourist attractions in the world that should not be photographed are initiated by the Taj Mahal in India. The Taj Mahal in India is a world popular tourist attraction as well as a world heritage site designated by UNESCO. Surely we are familiar with the portrait of the outside of the Taj Mahal which is identical to the white color and the tower that stands firmly on the sides.

But apparently, there is a part of the Taj Mahal that cannot be photographed. Namely on the inside of the building itself. This is what makes you never find inside photos of the Taj Mahal on the internet. The reason why the inside of the Taj Mahal is prohibited from being photographed is because there is a tomb inside. So the Taj Mahal does not allow tourists to take photos.

2. Eiffel Tower – Paris, France

The next tourist spot that doesn’t allow tourists to take photos is the Eiffel Tower. Yes, we can easily get the elegant pictures of the Eiffel Tower on the Internet. But apparently there are times when the Eiffel Tower is not allowed to be photographed, you know. FYI, the Eiffel Tower which is an icon of the city of Paris has its own rules regarding photos taken by tourists. Where you can take photos in the morning, afternoon and evening freely.

However, it is forbidden to take pictures at the Eiffel Tower at night. And if caught, it will be declared as illegal activity. This is because the light show on Eiffel installed by Pierre Bideau in 1985 is protected by copyright. Only tourists who have a permit can take pictures and share them on social media.

3. Neushwanstein Castle – Germany

Neushwanstein Castle, located in the Bavarian region of Germany, is also one of the tourist attractions that has regulations regarding shooting. This beautiful palace with a 19th century style inspired the formation of Disneyland so that it is also known as the fairytale king’s castle.

The outside view of this building can be photographed freely. While the interior of this instana is strictly forbidden to capture. Tourists who tour the castle are prohibited from taking pictures or recording videos.

4. Sistine Chapel – Vatican, Italy

The next tourist spot that does not allow tourists to take selfies is the Sistine Chapel in the Vatican, Italy. The Sistine Chapel is known as a world popular tourist attraction with a beautiful architectural style. This building used to be a church, but has now become a remarkable museum and monument from the Renaissance.

However, tourists are prohibited from taking pictures inside the chapel due to copyright issues owned by Nippon TV, which financed the renovation of the chapel itself. Nippon TV itself took photos of the inside of this Sistine Chapel in 1997 ago. And until now, the Vatican authorities still enforce rules prohibiting taking photos inside the Sistine Chapel.
